Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend working with Mike Fyvie if you’re looking to buy or sell in the Lakewood Ranch or Sarasota areas. The reason I like working with Mike is because he has a lot of experience as a real estate investor and I’m new to the game. Mike always has good information followed by his own example whenever I have a question about renovations, finding tenants, etc.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’m not one to leave a lot of reviews, but this gentleman is such a pleasure to work with! Being an insurance agent, I’ve met a ton of different real estate agents. His patience and willingness to help is something I can write about for days! I can definitely tell you, he does his research! His knowledge of the Sarasota, Manatee area is very helpful and impressive. He knows it all! I would definitely recommend him for anything related to real estate! If I could put 10 stars I would. Thank you so much!

🏗️ What Is a Pre-Drywall Inspection—and Do You Really Need One?

If you're building a new home, there’s a short window when the framing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other important components are still visible before the drywall goes up.

That’s where a pre-drywall inspection comes in.

Having gone through the new construction process myself, I've seen firsthand why having an independent set of eyes on the home at this stage can be so valuable.

In my latest blog, I break down:
🔴 What a pre-drywall inspection is
🔴 What an inspector looks for
🔴 Why timing matters
🔴 What happens when issues are identified
🔴 Why I recommend one to new construction buyers

PLUS: Get my FREE Pre-Drywall Inspection Checklist: 10 Common Issues to Check Before the Walls Are Closed.

🏡 AUGUST 2026 REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE: SARASOTA

🏡 AUGUST 2026 REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE: SARASOTA & MANATEE COUNTIES

The latest numbers are in, and there are some important changes happening in our local housing market.

📈Sales increased across all four major market segments compared with last August, while inventory continued to decline. But home prices are telling different stories depending on where and what you own.

A few August highlights:
• Manatee single-family: $495K median price, +5.9% year over year

• Sarasota single-family: $470K median price, -1.1% year over year

• Condo/townhome sales jumped 20.5% in Manatee and 13.8% in Sarasota

• Months of supply has fallen considerably since the beginning of 2026.

So, what does all of this actually mean if you're thinking about buying, selling, or wondering what your home is worth?
I broke down the August numbers in plain English, including how the market has changed from January through August and what I'm watching as we head toward the end of 2026.

👇 Read the full August 2026 market update: BLOG IN BIO

If you'd like to know what's happening specifically in your neighborhood or community, send me a DM. I'm happy to provide a free market analysis and discuss what the numbers could mean for your home.

NEW CONSTRUCTION UPDATE #7 — STAR FARMS

Our new home in Star Farms at Lakewood Ranch is taking another big step forward!
Insulation has now been installed throughout the home, the stucco process is underway, and sheetrock/drywall is next. Each stage has an important purpose and once drywall goes up, a lot of what makes your home work disappears behind the walls.

I just published a new blog breaking down what these construction stages mean, why they matter, and what typically comes next as a new construction home moves closer to completion.

We’re going through the entire process ourselves, so I’m sharing the good, the things to watch for, and what I’m learning along the way.
